Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of Leadbury, the online platform at leadbury.com (“Leadbury”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Leadbury for a business, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.

The service

Leadbury helps small businesses manage online advertising, websites and analytics in one place. Depending on your plan, this includes a business brief and marketing plan, a website we build and host for you, campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, creatives, enquiry handling and reports.

What is included for you is set out in the proposal you accept. The platform is in beta: we improve it continuously and may change or remove features, keeping anything you have paid for.

The chat on our website is answered by an AI assistant. Its answers are general information and may contain mistakes; they are not an offer. Prices, scope and terms are the ones in the proposal you accept and in these terms.

Accounts and access

  • Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
  • You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace and for the roles you give them.
  • Give us accurate information about your business; plans, websites and ads rely on it.

Advertising accounts

Leadbury runs your ads in one of two ways, and you choose. The proposal you accept states which one applies to each advertising account.

Your own account, billed to you

You connect an advertising account you own, for example a Google Ads account, by signing in with that platform and granting access or, for Google Ads, by accepting a link request from Leadbury’s Google Ads manager account. The platform bills you directly through the payment method in your account. By connecting you authorise Leadbury to read the account’s data and to create and manage campaigns in it within the plans, budgets and changes you approve. You can disconnect at any time in Leadbury or at the platform (for Google: Google Account permissions, or remove the manager link in Google Ads under Admin → Access and security). The account and its campaigns stay yours.

An account Leadbury runs and pays for

We open an advertising account for your business under Leadbury’s manager account and pay the platform for your ads ourselves. The account is used only for your business. You pay us the advertising budget you approve together with our fees, as described in Fees and advertising costs. When the service ends we stop spending and, at your request, help you move the account to your own billing where the platform allows it.

In both cases your use of each platform remains subject to its own terms and advertising policies, such as the Google Ads Terms and policies. Ads must comply with them and with the law; we may refuse or pause work that would not.

Approvals and budgets

Nothing is published and no advertising money is committed without your approval. AI suggestions are proposals only; they are carried out after a person with the right role approves them, and spending stays within the monthly limit you set.

Fees and advertising costs

Our service fees, including VAT where it applies, are shown in the proposal you accept and are fixed for that version. Advertising costs depend on the account:

  • Your own account: you pay advertising costs directly to the platform; they are never part of our invoices.
  • An account Leadbury runs and pays for: our invoice shows the advertising budget separately from our fees and tax. We spend that budget only on your ads, within the limit you approved, and show the actual cost reported by the platform. Unused budget stays credited to your project and is refunded when the service ends.

Your content

You keep the rights to the content and data you provide. You give us permission to use it to provide the service to you, for example to build your website and run your campaigns. You confirm that you have the rights to what you upload and that claims about your business are true.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Leadbury for unlawful, misleading or harmful products, services or advertising.
  • Do not try to access other customers’ data, disrupt the platform or bypass its security or limits.
  • Do not send spam through websites or forms built with Leadbury.

Ending the service

You can stop using Leadbury at any time; fees for work already accepted remain due. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously breached. When an account is closed we disconnect your advertising accounts and delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Accounts you connected and their campaigns remain yours; for accounts Leadbury pays for, see Advertising accounts.

Warranties and liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Advertising results depend on many factors outside our control, so we do not guarantee specific results, rankings or numbers of enquiries. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we will announce material changes in the platform or by email before they take effect. Questions about these terms: [email protected] or the contact page.
